Description:
This hike in 2015 took me from Hinterzarten first into the Löffeltal with its two preserved water-powered sawmills, then to a former rope factory and then to Hofgut Sternen with its very famous glassblowing workshop. From there it went under the Höllentalbahn viaduct into the well-known and popular Ravenna Gorge. The return to Hinterzarten led from the upper end of the Ravenna Gorge via Mittlere Ravenna and the Birklehof, a private grammar school, back to Hinterzarten.
