I needed a challenge and the South Island of New Zealand truly delivered on this one!
My friend Charlie and I decided to go the hard, but extra fun way following the river from sea to alpine in search of an epic high-country hut to overnight in. It was worth a few scratches, falls and every bead of sweat!
