We climb the Hangerer, 3020m in the rear Ötztal. Starting point is Obergurgl. In splendid weather, it is a wonderful approach 3000er and also a top vantage point: From the summit you have a full view of the Hochfirst (3403 m) and the Liegner Spitze (3399 m). The intermediate Schönwieshütte (2270 m) invites you to relax on the sun terrace.
