Description:
Háifoss is a magnificent waterfall that plunges into a deep gorge from a height of 122 meters. This makes it the third highest waterfall in Iceland. It lies on the Fossá í Þjórsárdal river, north of the famous stratovolcano Hekla. 250 meters further, the Gránni waterfall falls from the cliff, fed by water from the same river. Standing on the edge of the steep cliff opposite the waterfalls is an experience in itself. Additionally, the gorge with the waterfalls is very photogenic.
