Gýmeš is a castle ruin on the steep conglomerate hill Dúň (514 m a.s.l.) on the southern slope of the Tribeč Mountains, roughly 5 km north of the village Jelenec (Gýmeš). The ruin is a prominent landmark of the wide area. Gýmeš is one of the ancestral castles of the noble Forgách family – together with Halič Castle.
