GRA DE FAJOL (Crossing via Pas de l'Isard)

A different way to climb the two summits of Gra de Fajol, a very interesting itinerary that once winter is over and when the snow in the mountains is only residual in gullies and hollows allows us uncomplicated access to this symbolic mountain. From Refugi d'Ull de Ter to the wide col that forms Pas de l'Isard, we arrive via a faint path over grassy terrain where we will find markers. From the col to the summit of Gra de Fajol Petit, the route is along the ridge and quite evident. Back to the col and to reach Gra de Fajol Gran we follow a narrow path along which we gradually gain elevation always on the slope of Coma de l'Orri. The descent is via the usual normal ascent route, a wide path to Coll de la Marrana, from where we link up with the GR coming from Refugi d'Ull de Ter.
