Description: The impressive remains of the late Gothic castle lie on a rocky hill above the town. The oldest part is the square keep constructed in solid masonry technique from the 13th century, originally higher. Best preserved is the four-story outer wall of the palace, showing some stone window frames from the 15th century. Also impressive is the eastward-facing gate structure, before which a drawbridge once stood. From a round tower on the north side, only low remains exist. It dates from the 16th.
