The Gianicolo is known for its fascinating views of Rome's historic center and is considered the point with the most beautiful panoramic view of the city. The best place to enjoy the panorama is Piazzale Garibaldi, the highest point of the hill, where you can also admire the equestrian statue of the hero of Italian Unification.
