Description:
From the Biathlon centre in Forni Avoltri, follow the forest road climbing towards Casera Tuglia, continue through the forest with several hairpin bends until you begin traversing eastwards. When the casera itself comes into view, turn right near a characteristic picnic table covered by a shelter. Here leave the forest road to climb directly through the forest southwards continuing in the valley between Monte Geu on the right and Monte Cimon on the left. Higher up the vegetation thins out and just below the saddle shift right to avoid a rocky barrier, reaching Passo Geu Basso with some diagonals on steeper ground.
