This splendid water mirror, together with the other two (Mediano and Superiore) forming the Fremamorta Lakes complex, is located in a beautiful panoramic balcony overlooking the Gesso Valley of Valletta and the Argentera Massif, in a wild and isolated environment. In the video, after the still half-frozen lake, the last peaks of the Cresta San Giovanni, the south-east side of Monte Matto, Asta Soprana, Punta Stella are visible, in backlight the west side of the Argentera Massif, then Punta Paganini, Cima di Nasta, Bastione and Cima di Brocan. Very close Cima Giuglia and at the end Cima di Fremamorta. And finally the peak overlooking the lake: Testa di Bresses. Climbed from Gias delle Mosche, good weather and bearable temperature.
