Description:
Yesterday's tour started right outside the door of our holiday apartment. About 4 km by bike to Riva del Garda to the official tour starting point below Bastione. On a well-maintained path, it first goes up in switchbacks to the Bastione castle ruins. The continuation leads over a wide but somewhat rocky path up to Capanna Santa Barbara, a hut operated on weekends in summer, at 560 m.
