Description:
On the west face of Sella develops a challenging ferrata with vertical sections or passages without cable, quite long. After the first two ample hours of progression one reaches a very panoramic plateau but the summit is still far. Behind us the constant presence of Sassolungo. Climbing further on the last bastions, even without cable but with many holds and grips, the progression is exposed and conquers the summit. From there, a breathtaking panorama opens on the entire Mesules plateau with views of Piz Boè, Sass Pordoi, Marmolada and below...much lower Passo Sella, Val di Fassa and Val Gardena.
