The Palazzo Ducale of Mantua, also known as the reggia dei Gonzaga, is one of the main historic city buildings.
Since 1308 it has been the official residence of the lords of Mantua, the Bonacolsi, and then the main residence of the Gonzaga, lords, marquises and finally dukes of the Virgilian city.
