This 6 km long hike starts and ends in Grevesmühlen at Ploggensee. After passing the lake and a moor landscape, the path ascends to the 100m high Iserberg. The path climbs about 70 meters in elevation to around 800m. The path is not marked and orientation is required. At the end of the path through the forest over Iserberg, after a short descent, you reach the Hamberge observation tower, which is about 20m lower. From there, a wide panoramic view opens up, reaching slightly above the tower to the Ostsee. Via the staircase path, it goes back down to Ploggensee. The return to the starting point now takes place on the other side of the shore.
