From the parking lot at the ticket sales, it goes steeply uphill to the imposing and extensive castle ruins of Hohentwiel. There are repeatedly magnificent views of the near and far surroundings, such as the Alps, Lake Constance, and of course the almost bird's-eye view of the city of Singen.
