Always a racy alpine ski tour to Festkogel!
Starting point Johnsbach at Kölblwirt. Ascent to Untere Koderalm and to the foot of Schneekarturm. Depending on conditions directly at Schneekarturm (very steep) or below Hochtor somewhat flatter to summit shoulder and exposed summit slope - mostly always with skis - to the peak. Although I've done this fantastic Festkogel for the x-th time, the feelings of happiness are always indescribable! For me one of the most beautiful ski peaks!!!!! I love it - Festkogel 2269m 1400m elevation. This time we caught the descent in firn dream! My respect and admiration for this racy alpine tour is always anew very HIGH!
