Description:
Late September is one of our favorite times to go backpacking! This weekend we explored Thunder Mountain in the Central Cascades. The trail is about 7 miles each direction, with about 4500' elevation gain total. Vesper, our yellow lab, did great over the scramble sections, but did need a boost a few times.
