The spring 2022 climbing season on Everest has begun. This year, most expeditions to climb the world's highest peak have arrived in Nepal and are starting the journey to Everest Base Camp. Sherpas are already fixing routes through the Khumbu Icefall to Camp I. The rest of the route to the summit will be established in early May.
