In August 2015, Roger Schäli, Robert Jasper and Simon Gietl redpointed the hardest route on the Eiger to date. Schäli and Jasper had equipped the 33-pitch Odyssey as early as 2009. Unfavourable conditions prevented a free ascent at the time.
