Description:
Montusel is a peak in Zuc dal Bor group, modest altitude (1881 m) but great view over Canal del Ferro. Summer trail from south is very steep. With abundant snow, skiable via splendid wide northern gully; low start requires carrying skis 400-500 m before snowy channel. Path suggestive and wild. Not well-known ski tour, but nearly 1000 m continuous descent rewards effort. This time bad weather, thick fog prevented panorama, so we'll return.
