Description:
Bistrica is a river in the southwestern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina that flows through the eastern part of Livanjsko polje. It is about three kilometers long. The first kilometer flows through the town of Livno, continuing through Livanjsko polje. It belongs to the Adriatic river basin. During summer months the riverbed is mostly shallow, in autumn it swells from heavy rains. It springs from the hill Bašajkovac, at the source Duman.
