The Austrian David Lama and his American rope partner Conrad Anker attempt the first ascent of Lunag Ri: No human has ever reached this summit in Nepal.
Ultimately, the two rope partners reached the headwall of the 6907 meter high Lunag Ri on the Nepalese-Tibetan border as the first team. Their goal of being the first humans ever on the summit of this still unclimbed mountain was denied to them due to strong winds and icy temperatures.
