Description:
Uršlja gora or Plešivec which belongs to the Karavanke group is located southwest of the town of Kotlje. To the summit at 1699m there are several marked trails which are not technically demanding, only fitness is needed, they differ only in length-walking time. I chose the Železarska trail which starts at Ivarčko jezero below the foot of Uršlja gora. To the summit itself I needed approx. 2.5 hours. At the summit there is a TV repeater and the church of St. Ursula-the highest in Slovenia, nearby is the mountain hut. From the summit there are nice views in good weather all the way to Triglav and the entire Carinthia which is like on the palm of your hand.
