Parked the car in Piancavallo near Casera Capovilla, took the CAI 924 trail. After half an hour reached Val Suchet and ascended the beautiful valley always following trail 924, midway up the valley I started climbing the normal route to Manera via steep and zigzag trails until reaching the junction with Alta via dei Rondoi, continued left and ascended the steep and exciting gully leading to Cima Manera (or Cimon del Cavallo) which reigns unchallenged over the Pordenone plain... For the descent I decided to go down the adrenaline-pumping west ridge (Alta via dei Rondoi) to Forcella Palantina (or Forcella del Cavallo)
