Description:
After the death of an Indian climber during a summit push on Kanchenjunga mountain, there have been developments on the Himalayan giants. Avel Kostrikin, a Russian climber, died at Everest Camp 2 at 6500 meters. No accidents or falls were reported. Apparently Kostrikin was struck by altitude sickness. The Russian climber was completing his last acclimatization rotation before launching a summit push.
