Description:
Cerro Valdés is located in the heart of Cajón del Maipo, it is a classic 3711-meter summit that rises above the homonymous town and canyon. We decided to tackle this summit via the route from Termas de Colina through Quebrada de Carreñito, as it is a shorter and more beautiful route, gifting us two high Andean lagoons, many esteros, and snowfields that persist on the south faces of the hills in the sector.
