Cerkniško Lake is an intermittent lake in southwestern Slovenia, in the southern part of the Cerkniško Polje, which is the second largest karst polje in Slovenia. When flooded, its surface area measures 26 km², and during heavy rain it can reach up to 38 km². Thus, it is the largest lake in Slovenia.
