Description:
The twin castle Liebenfels is one of the most impressive castle ruins in Carinthia and is located on a rocky hill steeply sloping to the east above the municipality of Pulst.
The castle is first mentioned in documents in 1312 as 'Hous Liewenvelse'. In 1333 the Lords of Liebenberg are named as holders of the ducal fief.
