Description:
In October I cancelled a 2 week backpacking trip to Utah when I found out there was a chance my mom had cancer, and I wanted to be with her when she learned her prognosis. Thankfully the doctors didn't find any cancer, and my mom feels like she has her life back! We planned to take a camping trip in Cumberland Island, GA, but Hurricane Nicole was set to make landfall as we arrived. So instead we decided to find a random place to camp and hike out of Hurricane Nicole's reach. Hope you enjoy!
