Description:
We leave the cars at the mountain parking lot of POZZUOLO (1530 m) at 7:15, reachable from Edolo. Further on we take the CAI trail no. 34 dedicated to Silvio Boninchi. After a wooded and steep section of Valle Moia, the trail overcomes the scree of Foppa reaching the feet of AVIOLO (8:40). The ascent is demanding, for experts, with chain-assisted passages. Although steady, we reach the summit of AVIOLO (2881 m) at 10:40.
