Description:
The Eddy from Edelrid can be seen as an exotic among belay devices. Due to its relatively heavy and robust design, it is rarely seen in climbing gyms. The device comes from work safety and features an anti-panic function. The entry angle of the brake rope doesn't matter during operation. The quick-release method takes getting used to. However, the Eddy works well even with slightly thicker climbing ropes.
