Description:
The Swedish Torch is made with a log split into four, which once lit provides a convenient support for a pot.
After finding a log of the right size and sufficiently dry, I started processing it; once split into four, I removed some central wood and tied the four pieces together with string. It was already a lot of work up to this point, and the ignition was no less. After several attempts and many curses, it lit up and finally I started cooking. The 'Swedish torch' system is convenient and burns for a long time, but requires laborious searching and processing of the log, certainly fun but not always feasible.
