Description:
The ascent from Pessenbach via Orterer Alm and Pessenbacher Joch to Rabenkopf turns out to be a very varied and attractive undertaking. After reaching Orterer Alm, it goes along the edge of a beautiful basin up to Pessenbacher Joch. From there, steeply up to Schwarzeck, a forepeak north of Rabenkopf. At the transition to Rabenkopf, there's also a short steep step overcome via a secured via ferrata with wire rope and footrests.
