Today my alarm rings at 4.45 a.m., I look out the window. It is completely cloudy. I lie down again. With good prospects I would have driven to Lake Moraine for sunrise today. At 6.45 we get up and drive without breakfast at 7.10 a.m. to Park and Ride at Ski Stadium Lake Louise. Nonsensically we have to check in here for the shuttle to Lake Moraine, although you can also start from Lake Louise. This fact was also the reason for our confusion when booking, we had tried to start from Lake Louise, but it doesn't work. So we have to move the car today, although it's not necessary. We left a bit earlier because we wanted to have breakfast at the ski stadium, but there's nothing that appeals to us. So we check into the bus early and are told to board right away, even though it's before our time slot (8.10-9 a.m.). So no breakfast for us here after all. We hope for Lake Moraine. Indeed a small café is open, there's an expensive cappuccino (7.95) and 2 muffins (3.95 each). The weather still looks bad, and it's very fresh.
