Description:
Buchlov (1040.5 m a.s.l.) is a prominent rocky hill in the Vtáčnik mountains. It is located off the main ridge in the southwestern part of the range, above the village of Horná Ves.
The hill is covered with mixed forest and lies in the CHKO Ponitrie. A large part of the summit belongs to the Buchlov nature reserve, which extends southeast to the Žarnov cliffs.
