Description:
Klosterwappen is a mountain located in Austria, in the easternmost part of the Schneeberg massif, 70 km southwest of Vienna. It is the highest mountain in Lower Austria and at the same time the easternmost Alpine two-thousander, which belongs to the home mountains of the Viennese. The ascent to the summit from the south passes through several interesting gorges and although not technically demanding, it is necessary to overcome a large elevation gain.
