Description:
On the eastern shore of Ratzeburger See is the Seebruch (a shore forest with springs) and a bit further the Steinerne Rinne (a post-glacial valley formation connecting the deeply incised Rinnental near the former village of Neuhof with Ratzeburger See), both very worthwhile regions that are strictly protected and may only be traversed on the designated hiking trails.
