Tue, 28.06.2022 Arrival Frankfurt, evening concert in Festhalle
At 11:30 a.m. I leave home. I drive leisurely and arrive at the hotel in Frankfurt around 2:15 p.m. Perfect timing, Elke arrives 3 minutes after me. We check in and unpack our stuff in the room. I only take my carry-on and a small extra packed bag to the room. The car stays overnight in the locked underground garage, nothing will happen there, my bag is in the non-visible trunk. We freshen up quickly and go to the nearby center to Starbucks. There we sit for about 2 hours chatting about my past vacation and our upcoming one. For Elke's sake we're sitting at the concert this evening, so we have time. For standing places I'd be at the hall long before.
