Today a cozy and easy family hike is on the program. At the valley station of the Hörnlebahn in Bad Kohlgrub, we start our tour up to the Hörndlhütte. Directly behind the hut is the first summit, the Zeitberg. From here we already have a nice view of the surrounding lakes: Ammersee, Starnberger See, Staffelsee. Then we continue to the Vordere Hörnle. From here, there is now the option to hike directly to the Mittlere Hörnle or take it on the way back. We decide to first climb the Hintere Hörnle and the Stierkopf before taking the Mittlere Hörnle on the return.
