Alpine climbing from Mittenwald via Gamsanger to Obere Wettersteinspitze

The ascent of Obere Wettersteinspitze begins with a hike over gentle meadow landscape. After turning towards our goal, soon steep terrain as well as occasional wire rope protections. The downward-sloping ascent to Gamsanger is narrow and exposed, but has a passable path. Above it, over almost 300 meters of elevation, continuous grade I climbing - no longer hiking terrain!
