Strážovské vrchy are a geomorphological unit of the Fatransko-tatranská area at the junction of western and central Slovakia. A large part belongs to the CHKO Strážovské vrchy with rare flora and fauna. The highest peak of the mountains is Strážov with a height of 1213 m a.s.l.
