from Colle dell'Impiso to Serra del Prete one descends to Colle Gaudolino and climbs back among splendid loricati pines to Serra del Pollinello and to the top of Pollino. One descends to Timpa di Valle Piana and climbs to Serra Dolcedorme. One descends to Timpa Pino di Michele a little further ahead one takes a path that cuts the NE flank to Piano di Acquafredda. One climbs to Serra delle Ciavole, Serra delle Ciavole nord, Serretta della Porticella and finally Serra di Crispo, from here one returns to Colle dell'Impiso.
