The autumn season 2021 officially opens. I couldn't choose a better setting than this corner of Agordino. Col di Luna and Rifugio Scarpa Gurekian. From the inhabited center of Frassenè Agordino to ascend Val Domadore on trail 772. Malga Luna at 1595m, the first observation point overlooking Agnèr. But Col di Luna awaits me. Beautiful panoramic trail to reach Passo di Luna at 1718m, where Autumn marks its step in vast meadows of grass with that classic seasonal coloring. The summit cross of Col is a matter of twenty minutes to admire a panoramic view towards Agordino of great effect. For Rifugio Scarpa Gurekian just return towards Malga Luna staying a bit higher, following trail 773 to Malga Loch. At the refuge the loop is almost complete, Costa d'Agarèi descends again towards Frassenè Agordino on trail 771.
