Who are we, and where are we? That's a question worth asking. As Ladin people, we have deep ties to our territory, with Tyrolean roots dating back to the 12th century. Subsequently, it endured the rule of the Habsburg Empire (Austria) and the tumultuous times of the Napoleonic wars. Suddenly, this land was annexed to Bavaria (Germany).
