Beautiful ski touring trip along the normal route to Piccolo Siera. In this case, to make the route a bit more adventurous, we climb the gully leading to the high saddle of Siera (also reachable from the north along the famous gully rising from the Sappada side), for the descent we take the beautiful South-West bowl to its end which via wide gullies deposits us directly on the gravel road leading to Passo Siera from Culzei. Alternatively, instead of the gully uphill, one can traverse the wide ledge (very evident) at the end of the valley under the two Sieras which, traversing to the right, leads to the slope descending from the summit. This year's snow conditions allowed descent on skis directly from the summit.
