Description:
The Pavé refuge is a refuge located in the Écrins massif, at 2,841 m altitude, at the foot of Pavé, Pic Gaspard, on the edge of Lac du Pavé. The old refuge destroyed by an avalanche, a new one was built in 1970, immediately destroyed by an avalanche as well.
