Starting point of our tour was Baumgartner Höhe, directly above Lake Faaker See and Burg Finkenstein.
First on a gently rising gravel road, then steeper and steeper through the forest, the path on route 684 led us to the first peak, Techantinger Mittagskogel at 1931 meters.
