Description:
The ascent begins at the start of Labrénère valley, bordering idyllic Lescún valley. We follow the path to Puerto de Palo but leave it early at Pénot cabins to find on right grassy slopes a faint trail to Escourrets col. Passing d'Annès cabin (now a white caravan) we climb to another col at Bacqué base. Then small upper col and scramble final rock, easy but careful, to isolated summit.
