The Karbunkulový hrebeň separates Červená dolina from Malá Zmrzlá dolina. It branches off from the main ridge at Belasá veža (2290) and continues via Belasé sedlo, Malý Kolový štít (2276), Zadná Sklenená štrbina, Zadný Kopiniak (2257), Prostredná Sklenená štrbina, Prostredný Kopiniak, Predná Sklenená štrbina, Predný Kopiniak (2250) and Jastrabie sedlo. The ridge is capped by Jastrabia veža (2137) from where it drops steeply to Zelený ples.
