We start from Huarte Arakil, following the beginning of the paved track leading to the San Miguel de Aralar sanctuary. Soon we leave it to ascend the old cobblestone path. At the top, after visiting the sanctuary, we tackle the final slope that brings us to the summit of Altzueta, heavily marred by unsightly antennas. One of the best views over the hidden Ata valley.
